Position Summary

J&T Electrical Contractors is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Master Electrician with a current Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) Master Electrician License. This leadership position is responsible for overseeing commercial and residential electrical projects, supervising field personnel, ensuring all work is completed safely and in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations, and providing accurate estimating and project documentation.

Essential Responsibilities

• Supervise and oversee multiple electrical projects from start to finish.
• Manage and direct Journeyman and Apprentice Electricians.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with NEC, local codes, and company standards.
• Coordinate daily job assignments, manpower, and project schedules.
• Perform job site inspections and quality control.
• Review blueprints, specifications, and electrical drawings.
• Prepare material takeoffs and order project materials as needed.
• Develop accurate estimates and proposals for commercial and residential electrical projects.
• Complete project documentation, reports, change orders, and required paperwork.
• Maintain communication with customers, contractors, inspectors, and project managers.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical systems and provide technical guidance to field personnel.
• Ensure OSHA safe,ty standards and company safety policies are followed at all times.
• Assist with project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
• Mentor and train Journeyman and Apprentice Electricians to develop their skills.
• Participate in customer meetings and provide professional solutions to electrical challenges.
