Licensed Journeyman Electrician - Commercial Solar (NorCal)

MARS Energy EPC is entering a new phase of growth, and we’re looking for multiple licensed electricians at the Journeyman level or above to join our field team in Northern California. Candidates must be based in Northern California, as projects are located throughout the region- regular travel is required.

You’ll work hands-on across Utility-Scale and Public Works Solar and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects. In this role, you won’t just install systems- you’ll lead on-site execution, support safety excellence, and mentor the next generation of apprentices.

* Licensing Requirement: CA General Electrician's License is required for this role. * PREVAILING WAGE RATES APPLY * Must be located in the Northern California. *JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:*

• Travels to active job sites (100%). Areas of travel include but not limited to: The Central Valley, Northern California, and Santa Cruz.
• Install, repair, and maintain electrical components and systems in accordance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations.
• Perform wiring, conduit installation, panel mounting, and terminations for solar PV systems.
• Conduct testing and troubleshooting to ensure the integrity and safety of electrical systems and components.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Ensure all installations meet MARS quality and safety standards.
• Collaborate with other trades and project teams to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
• Mentor apprentices and less experienced electricians, ensuring they adhere to company safety and performance standards.
• Adhere to all company and industry safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures.
• Report and sign off on apprentice OJT (on the job training hours) to electrical superintendent.
