Job Summary

Licensed Electrician Needed – Property-Wide AlumiConn Remediation

We are seeking a qualified, licensed electrician or electrical contractor to complete property-wide aluminum wiring remediation at a multifamily community.

The scope of work includes

• Inspecting all units and applicable common areas for aluminum branch wiring.
• Removing existing CO/ALR receptacles and any Ideal 65 or Ideal 85 purple wire connectors.
• Permanently remediating all applicable aluminum branch wiring connections using AlumiConn connectors.
• Replacing receptacles, switches, and other electrical devices as needed following completion of the AlumiConn remediation.
• Installing GFCI receptacles in kitchens, bathrooms, laundry areas, exterior locations, and any other required locations where GFCI protection is missing.
• Testing all repaired connections, devices, and circuits for proper operation and safety.
• Providing a detailed unit-by-unit report showing the locations inspected and repairs completed.

The contractor must be properly licensed and insured and have experience completing AlumiConn aluminum-wiring remediation.
