Lead Residential Electrician

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead Residential Electrician to join our team and drive excellence in residential electrical projects. This role offers an opportunity to lead electrical installations and maintenance for a diverse range of residential properties. As a key leader on the team, you will oversee electrical work, mentor junior electricians, and ensure all projects meet safety standards and building codes. Duties

• Lead and coordinate residential electrical projects from initial planning through completion, ensuring timely and quality execution.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately install and troubleshoot electrical systems.
• Supervise and mentor apprentice electricians and junior team members, fostering a collaborative and safety-conscious work environment.
• Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems including low voltage, lighting, outlets, switches, circuit breakers, and wiring in residential settings.
• Prepare for inspections to ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC), local regulations, and safety standards.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, multimeters such as ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment to diagnose potential issues efficiently.
• Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols related to low voltage wiring and general construction site safety practices.

Skills

• Experience with residential electrical systems combined with strong knowledge of commercial or industrial electrician practices.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams for complex electrical installations.
