Lead Commercial Electrician

The Lead Commercial Electrician is responsible for overseeing multiple crews, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This individual will serve as a primary point of contact with General Contractors, provide advanced technical support, and mentor team members in the field.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• Lead equipment startup, commissioning, and testing activities.
• Oversee and coordinate multiple electrical crews on commercial projects.
• Maintain direct communication with General Contractors and project stakeholders.
• Prepare and submit Requests for Information (RFIs) as needed.
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
• Solve complex jobsite challenges while maintaining productivity.
• Train, mentor, and develop lower-level technicians and electricians.
• Enforce company safety standards and industry best practices.
• Protect labor efficiency through effective planning, delegation, and resource management.
• Conduct quality control inspections and verify code compliance.

Qualifications

• Extensive commercial electrical experience required.
• Proven leadership experience managing multiple crews and large commercial projects.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project documents.
• Experience with equipment startup and commissioning.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Journeyman Electrician Certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
