Journeyman Electrician

Salt Lake and Utah County

Tri-Phase Electric is seeking qualified candidates in commercial or industrial experience in the Salt Lake and Utah County areas.

Responsibilities

Commercial experience, competent following blueprint’s and specifications. Installation of electrical power and lighting systems up 480V. Able to install ½”- 4” EMT, PVC and Rigid conduit.

General knowledge of fire alarms and low voltage lighting control.

Troubleshooting electrical components, transformers, motors, panels and branch circuits.

Industrial experience, competent in following one-line diagrams, installation of MDP’s and motor control centers.

Competent in the installation of ½”-6” rigid conduit, working on voltage up 480V. Work experience on mines and food plants a plus. Willing to be trained and certified on MSHA and OSHA.

Requirements

• Current Utah Journeyman License
• Experience in institutional/high schools and or industrial electrical.
• Understand schematic diagrams, blueprints and other specifications required.
• Strong working knowledge with electronic testing equipment, hand tools and power tools.
• Strong working knowledge of job site safety as well as ability to complete a company specific safety orientation.
• Must pass a background check, drug test and E-Verify.
