Journeyman Electrician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance in a commercial setting. The Journeyman Electrician will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical work meets industry standards and adheres to local and national electrical codes.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components in commercial buildings.
• Diagnose electrical problems and develop solutions to resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with other team members and contractors to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and others.

Requirements

• Journeyman Electrician license/certification required.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and components.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32.00 - $40.00 per hour
