SuiteMate Staffing Solutions is hiring a Journeyman Electrician to perform electrical maintenance and repairs at a municipal water treatment facility. This position is ideal for someone with industrial or commercial electrical experience who enjoys troubleshooting and keeping essential equipment running safely.

Responsibilities

--------------------

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot motors, pumps, control panels, generators, lighting, and power distribution systems.
• Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics.
• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs.
• Complete maintenance records and work orders.
• Follow all electrical safety standards and company procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician License.
• At least 3 years of industrial or commercial electrical experience.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and troubleshoot electrical systems.
• Valid Texas Driver's License (or ability to obtain one before employment).

### Preferred Experience

• Water or wastewater treatment facilities
• PLCs and SCADA systems
• VFDs and industrial motor controls

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and enter confined spaces as required.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
