POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking licensed Journeyman Electricians for contract positions on commercial and residential construction projects in Somerset,KY. Initial engagements are project-based, running 12 weeks or longer, with top performers eligible for conversion to direct hire. Candidates must hold a valid Journeyman Electrician license. Journeymen will perform all phases of commercial and residential electrical installation, work independently within the scope authorized by their license, and may supervise apprentice-level crew members under direction of a Master Electrician or Electrical Contractor.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Required

• Valid Journeyman Electrician license.
• Minimum 4–5 years of verifiable commercial or residential electrical field experience
• Expert proficiency reading electrical construction drawings: one-lines, panel schedules, riser diagrams, lighting and power plans
• Full command of NEC code requirements as adopted and enforced in Arkansas jurisdictions
• Mastery of conduit systems — EMT, rigid, IMC, PVC — including layout, bending, and support installation
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and supervise apprentice-level crew members
• Valid driver's license; reliable transportation to job site
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work at heights, and sustain physical demands across full shifts in varying conditions
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
