Journeyman Electrician

Pay and Schedule

• $35–$40/hour (based on experience)
• Overtime after 40 hours
• Seasonal schedule (subject to change):
• Winter: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Summer: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (4-day workweeks)
• Limited overtime—work/life balance is a priority

Role and Responsibilities

• Service new residential or commercial construction projects, typically managing one job at a time with occasional overlap between projects at different stages.
• Install wiring for new residential construction
• Operate small construction equipment such as trenchers, excavators, skid steers, and telehandlers (experience preferred but not required; training can be provided).
• Provide guidance to apprentices, supporting their development into future technicians.
• Maintain required licenses by completing CEUs, on personal time; the company will cover license renewal and CEU costs.
• Communicate clearly with team members, contractors, and customers to keep projects on schedule
• Accurately report all time and material used on each project to office staff
• Attend training, that is provided by RFE
• Eligible for company benefits package including PTO, insurance stipend, and company-provided vehicle.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Valid Journeyman Electrician License
• 1-2 years experience in residential electrical work
• Basic Hand Tools (preferred)
• Be able to lift 75lbs, work overhead, climb ladders
• Valid DL
