Journeyman Electrician

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments, ensuring compliance with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute wiring layouts and system configurations.
• Perform high-voltage electrical wiring and low-voltage system installations with precision and safety.
• Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to identify faults and determine appropriate solutions.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete wiring tasks efficiently on construction sites or renovation projects.
• Follow electrical safety procedures rigorously to prevent accidents or hazards during installation or maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely completion of electrical work while adhering to local electrical codes and standards.
• Assist with schematics reading, blueprint interpretation, and schematic updates as needed for ongoing projects.
• Support other trades such as frame carpentry or handyman tasks when required to facilitate smooth project progress.
