Position Summary

Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment such as injection molding, compression molding, mixing, milling and extruding machines.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance to injection molding, compression molding, mixing, milling and extruding machines.
• Repair auxiliary equipment such as mold heaters, ovens, loaders, spoolers, pumps, and parts conveyors by dismantling, cleaning and replacing worn or defective parts and assemblies
• Dismantle devices to gain access to and remove and replace any defective parts
• Work cross functionally with Process/Automation Engineers and Technicians to develop new machines and make process improvements
• Support continuous improvement through LEAN and HPT.
• May be required to research part availability and initiates purchase order for needed repair parts.
