Journeyman Electrician

Job description

This is an opportunity to take on a journeyperson electrician position with a well-established electrical contractor. The position offers flexibility, competitive compensation and the ability to work independently and pursue new challenges. Ideal candidates should have a background working as an electrician at large construction sites and also regularly work on renovations, networking, industrial and commercial buildings. Candidates will have experience programming industrial control panels and will be familiar with basic tools such as digital multimeters, hand tools, wire strippers and power drills.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety protocols.
• Install electrical wiring and connect electrical equipment.
• Test electrical lighting systems and troubleshoot problems where necessary.
• Perform diagnostics on electrical equipment.
• Build and test electrical networks.
• Install electrical equipment in industrial facilities.
• Installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems.

With industry leading wages, IBEW Electricians will be paid $67.69/hour MINIMUM when wages PLUS the benefits are added up!
