Job Summary

The Journeyman Electrician is responsible for supporting, coordinating, and facilitating all electrical related work that HomeWorks Energy offers to our customers. This role also supervises Electrical Apprentices and involves electrical hookups of HVAC equipment, panel and service upgrades, as well as knob and tube remediation, bath fan installation, and emergency repairs.

* Team Supervision: + Supervise the activities of Electrical Apprentices, ensuring optimal productivity and adherence to Mass Save and company best practice for safety and quality. + Conduct regular evaluations, provide feedback to management, and ensure Electrical Apprentices receive proper training. * Assessments: + Perform knob & tube assessments resulting in sign-off or quote. + IC rated light assessments resulting in sign-off or quote. + Provide all MASS Save and HWE required documentation. * Repair and installation: + Repairing damage by crews to light fixtures, wiring, fuses, or anything electrical related. + Installing electric thermostats. + Wiring heat pump, boiler, furnace electrical components and hard-wiring smoke detectors. + Installing bath fans. + Service and panel upgrades + Knob and tube remediation. * Code Compliance and Safety: + Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes, as well as safety regulations and industry standards. + Pulling and closing permits in all areas where required. * Documentation and Record-keeping: + Complete necessary paperwork, documentation, and reports related to electrical installations, inspec...
