Duties

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems including high-voltage wiring, low-voltage systems, and electrical panels on construction sites and renovation projects
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute wiring layouts and system configurations
• Use hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment to identify issues and ensure proper functioning of electrical systems
• Perform electrical diagnostics to locate faults efficiently and implement effective repair strategies
• Comply with all local electrical codes, NFPA 70 standards, NEC (National Electrical Code), and electrical safety procedures during all phases of work
• Install programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automation components for industrial applications
• Work safely with high-voltage electrical wiring and ensure adherence to all safety protocols to prevent accidents or injuries
• Collaborate with construction teams by providing expertise in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, framing carpentry, and handyman tasks as needed
