Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated Electrician to join our team. In this role, you will work alongside experienced journeyman electricians to learn how to install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems in residential buildings and homes. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity to gain hands-on experience and build a career in the electrical trade.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• This position is a learning role; you will receive direct supervision, mentorship, and on-the-job training.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Assists with the installation and repair of electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures.
• Measures, cuts, and installs conduits, wires, and cables under supervision.
• Helps install circuit breakers, outlets, switches, and other hardware.
• Learns to test electrical systems using diagnostic tools to ensure proper functionality and safety.
• Assists in inspecting existing systems to identify necessary repairs or replacements.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work environment and handles tool inventory.
• Learns and complies with all local and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Foundational knowledge of basic electrical concepts (or a strong willingness to learn).
• Familiarity with standard hand tools and basic power tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
• Eagerness to learn and take direction from senior team members.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Basic ability to read diagrams or blueprints is a plus, but not required.
