Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings using hand tools and power tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to accurately execute wiring layouts.
• Work with low voltage and high voltage systems in accordance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
• Operate testing equipment such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues effectively.
• Collaborate with construction teams on renovation projects, ensuring electrical work aligns with project specifications.
• Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation tasks when required.
• Maintain safety protocols at all times, including proper handling of electrical components and adherence to OSHA regulations.

Skills

• Proven experience as an industrial or commercial electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems and schematics.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment like ohmmeters.
• Knowledge of low voltage and high voltage wiring practices in compliance with NEC standards.
