Position Summary

The Journeyman Electrician performs electrical installations, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs while ensuring compliance with safety standards and electrical codes. This role also supports project coordination by managing daily work tasks, monitoring resources, and collaborating with project managers and team members to maintain productivity and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Install electrical systems, wiring, panels, and related components according to project specifications
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in residential, commercial, and industrial environments
• Perform maintenance and repairs to ensure reliable electrical system performance
• Ensure installations meet company quality standards and workmanship expectations
• Maintain compliance with the National Electrical Code and applicable regulations
• Follow job site safety procedures and enforce proper safety practices
• Prepare work for inspections and support regulatory compliance requirements
• Participate in ongoing safety training and compliance initiatives
