Mick's Electric is a locally owned and growing electrical contractor serving the Rapid City area and Black Hills region. We specialize in commercial, industrial, and high-end residential projects — from new construction and tenant improvements to service work and generator installations. We’re looking for an experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our team.

What You’ll Do

- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems in commercial, industrial, and residential settings - Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings - Perform quality installations while meeting all NEC and local code requirements - Collaborate with project managers, foremen, and other trades on job sites - Provide excellent customer service on service calls and smaller projects - Mentor apprentices and help maintain a safe, positive work environment

What We’re Looking For

- Current South Dakota Journeyman Electrician license (or reciprocal license eligible) - Minimum 4+ years of verifiable field experience as a licensed Journeyman - Clean driving record and reliable transportation - Ability to pass a drug screen and background check - Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety - Experience with commercial and/or industrial work is a big plus
