Our Journeyman Electrician (Freezer) role translates to our position known as High-Bay Freezer (HBF) Electrical & Instrumentation Technician. This role is responsible to ensure efficient operation of all electrical and process control instrumentation within the high-bay freezer and warehouse area. This includes mechanical and general facility maintenance, lubrication, sanitation, troubleshooting and repair of all equipment. This position will be required to fully understand the purpose and operation of the mechanical equipment and can make decisions based on sound judgement when a situation dictates.

• Installs, operates, and maintains to a high level of reliability, central process control equipment and instrumentation including but not limited to programmable controllers, motor controllers and wiring.
• Troubleshoots and makes minor and major repairs of equipment to prevent or minimize equipment downtime.
• Responsible for performing a variety of skilled duties to include but not limited to the following: painting, carpentry, cement masonry, plumbing, dry wall and/or other recognized crafts for the purpose of maintaining and repairing Simplot owned and operated building facilities.
