Position Title

Journeyman Electrician

Primary Objective

The Journeyman Electrician is responsible for overseeing and performing any electrical work required for an installation.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing plan sets and creating material list
• Confirming electrical calculations
• Layout and assembly of electrical service wall and conduit/wire runs
• Mechanical/structural mounting of electrical equipment
• Electrical wiring of solar array/system (AC & DC)
• Standing inspections and commissioning systems
• Testing circuits
• Landing terminals
• Install jobs within a specified timeframe and document completion of installation
• Ownership of the quality, timeliness, documentation, and safety of each installation
• Clean up of job site
• Additional duties required as needed

Knowledge and Skills Required

• Strong work ethic
• Excellent customer service skills required
• Detail oriented and shows pride in work
• Technical troubleshooting capability
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs of weight frequently throughout the day
• Must be willing to climb ladders, stairs and work on rooftops
• Must have valid driver license and reliable transportation with a clean driving record
• High School diploma or GED required
• Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment criminal and drug screen
• Must have own hand tools
• OSHA 10 Certification
• TECL Journeyman License
• Verifiable references
• US Citizenship or Work Permit

Physical Demands

Employee is required to walk, lift heavy objects, climb ladders and stairs, and work on rooftops.
