Journeyman Electrician

AC Smart Homes is hiring a Journeyman Electrician for residential and commercial electrical work.

We work on custom homes, remodels, smart home projects, bars, clubs, restaurants, office buildings, and other commercial spaces. The right person must be experienced, reliable, clean, and able to complete quality electrical work with minimal supervision.

This position is a good fit for someone who understands both standard electrical work and modern technology systems such as lighting control, smart home systems, AV, security cameras, networks, and low-voltage coordination.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and troubleshoot residential and commercial electrical systems
• Perform rough-in and finish electrical work
• Install panels, subpanels, breakers, lighting circuits, outlets, switches, and dedicated circuits
• Work on custom homes, remodels, restaurants, bars, clubs, offices, and commercial tenant improvements
• Read and follow electrical plans, lighting plans, and project layouts
• Install electrical infrastructure for smart home, AV, lighting control, camera, network, and access control systems
• Troubleshoot electrical problems and provide practical solutions
• Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, designers, homeowners, business owners, and other trades
• Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe
• Follow electrical code, safety standards, and company procedures
• Document completed work and report any job-site issues

Requirements

• Journeyman-level electrical experience required
• Residential and/or commercial electrical experience required
• Ability to work independently and complete clean, code-compliant installations
• Experience with rough-in, finish work, panels, lighting, switches, outlets, and troubleshooting
• Ability to read plans and follow layouts
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation
