Journeyman Electrician – Residential & Commercial

Job Summary

We’re looking for a dependable, experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our team. This is not an entry-level role. You’ll be leading projects, managing apprentices, and handling jobs from start to finish. If you take pride in clean, code-compliant work and can operate independently, you’ll be a strong fit.

Please do not apply unless you have at least 6 years of hands-on experience in residential AND commercial electrical work.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Run projects from rough-in to final with minimal supervision
• Lead and manage a crew of apprentices
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems
• Read plans, lay out jobs, and execute efficiently
• Coordinate with other trades on-site
• Ensure all work meets NEC and safety standards
• Keep jobs clean, organized, and on schedule

Requirements

• Valid Journeyman Electrician license (required)
• Minimum 6 years of residential AND commercial experience (required)
• Proven ability to lead a crew and run a project independently
• Strong knowledge of code, layouts, and troubleshooting
• Ability to communicate clearly with team and customers
• Dependable, professional, and takes ownership of work

Bonus (Not Required)

• Service work experience
• Remodel/renovation experience
• Basic carpentry or multi-trade knowledge

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
