The Position

This position functions as a Journeyman Electrician for A&E, installing power distribution and electrical systems for commercial and industrial projects in and around our Hempstead, TX location while maintaining compliance with national, state, and local electrical codes along with all A&E policies and procedures.

Primary Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, and test electrical systems for commercial and industrial projects — from raceway and conduit (EMT, GRC, FMC) through wire pull, terminations, and dielectric testing
• Read and execute work from electrical drawings, panel schedules, and specifications
• Install and wire gear, switchgear, panelboards, and motor control equipment
• Work safely in Class I Division 2 and other hazardous/industrial environments as assigned
• Keep schedule and quality on track through clear communication with foremen and crew, and full compliance with A&E safety policy

• Current Texas State Journeyman Electrician License (required), with solid working knowledge of NEC code
