Your Impact As a Journeyman Electrician, you will ensure data center electrical systems are installed, maintained, and repaired to the highest standards—driving uptime, safety, and compliance while supporting project delivery across multiple sites. Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities * Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, conduits, lighting, and control systems in strict adherence to codes and standards. * Perform routine inspections of electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. * Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, implementing effective and efficient solutions. * Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and federal regulations and codes. * Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries; report unsafe conditions immediately. * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and practices and utilize appropriate tools and equipment, ensuring proper maintenance. * Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout and customer needs. * Coordinate with electricians, technicians, and data center staff to install, test, and commission systems within project timelines. * Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding project status and issues. * Provide guidance and training to apprentices and less experienced electricians as needed. * Keep work areas clean and organized; maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. * Assist in preparing project status reports as required. * Respond promptly to emergencie...
