Industrial Journeyman Electrician

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Journeyman Electrician to join our team. This full-time, permanent position requires expertise in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in an industrial setting. The ideal candidate will have experience with high-voltage systems, motor controls, and troubleshooting complex electrical issues.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and machinery in industrial settings.

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to diagnose and resolve electrical issues.

- Inspect and test electrical systems and equipment to ensure proper functionality and safety compliance.

- Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults, including those related to high-voltage systems, motor controls, and PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers).

- Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on electrical systems to minimize downtime.

- Collaborate with other maintenance staff and engineers to ensure efficient operation and resolution of electrical issues.

- Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

- Document work performed and maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance.

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrical apprenticeship program or relevant technical training is preferred.

- Proven experience as an industrial electrician, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and equipment.

- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical diagrams.

- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing high-voltage systems, motor controls, and PLCs.

- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
