Industrial Electrician

Job Summary

The Industrial Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment throughout the manufacturing facility. This role supports safe and efficient plant operations by ensuring electrical components, motors, controls, and production equipment remain operational and reliable. The Industrial Electrician works closely with the Maintenance team to minimize downtime, improve equipment performance, and support continuous improvement initiatives. This position may also assist with general maintenance activities as business needs require.Key Responsibilities:* Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, conduit, and associated components throughout the facility. * Run, bend, and install rigid, EMT, and flexible conduit as required for new and existing equipment. * Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues involving motors, motor controls, sensors, starters, overloads, circuit breakers, relays, and other industrial electrical components. * Diagnose and replace AC motors, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and related control systems. * Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation. * Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment to maximize reliability and reduce downtime. * Assist with mechanical and general maintenance projects as needed. * Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and Arc Flash requirements. * Participate in weekend work, emergency repairs, and rotating on-call schedules as needed to support plant operations. * Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
