The Novelis Bay Minette, AL team is seeking Electricians to work in the Bay Minette facility. This role will report to the Engineering, Maintenance, Reliability & Automation (EMRA) Leader of the hiring Manufacturing Unit. The Electrician will install, repair, construct, test, and adjust electrical/electronic and controls on industrial electrical equipment. Additionally, they will maintain production and plant equipment electrical systems. Responsibilities:* Embrace the Novelis Safety Absolutes to build a zero-injury culture and the Novelis cultural beliefs of Be Authentic, Say Anything, Be Open and Built Trust * Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex electrical issues on production systems and equipment * Plan working procedures using prints, drawings, diagrams, manuals, and codes. * Perform layout, assembly, and wiring of component parts in installation, replacement and repair of systems and equipment; make sketches for fabrication of repair parts. * Keep necessary records and logs such as Maintenance work orders, calibration, and calculation records. * Participate in shift change turnover and department meetings. * Follow all safety rules and attend all safety meetings. * Documentation of measurement equipment calibration. * Assist with all other departments when necessary and assigned. * Adhere to and support company quality, environmental, health & safety, and certification standards, including ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, IATF 16949:2016, and ASI Certifications, where applicable.
