Industrial Electrician

General Description

Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and optimizing equipment and systems that combine mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, and computerized controls.

Primary Job Functions

• Install, maintain, and repair production equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control system failures.
• Program, monitor, and maintain PLCs, HMIs, sensors, drives, and other equipment.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose faults using electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and diagnostic software.
• Calibrate sensors, actuators, instrumentation, and control devices.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Assist with equipment upgrades, automation projects, and new machinery installations.
• Maintain maintenance records, repair logs, and technical documentation.
• Follow plant safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and electrical safety standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, electricians, maintenance technicians, and production personnel.
