Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Facilities Technician with electrical experience to join our team! As a Facilities electrician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems within our facility. Your primary goal is to ensure efficient operation of electrical systems, conducting preventive maintenance, and responding to emergency repairs to minimize downtime and create a comfortable and safe environment for our employees and tenants.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, motors, and control systems.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment.
• Replace or repair faulty components such as switches, relays, and circuit breakers
• Diagnose electrical issues and develop effective solutions.
• Use electrical testing equipment to identify and repair electrical malfunctions.
• Respond to emergency electrical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Assist in the installation of new electrical systems and equipment.
• Upgrade existing electrical systems to meet current standards and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with contractors and other technicians during installations and upgrades.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety standards.
