Electromechanical Electrician - NIGHTS

2-2-3 Rotating Schedule

Starting wage - $35.90/hr

PURPOSE

Safely perform electrical and mechanical maintenance repair work, trouble shooting, routine, and preventive maintenance on all production lines and plant facilities equipment.

Candidates will need to pass electromechanical knowledge test as part of the selection process.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Works in accordance with plant operations’ safety and quality programs to provide a safe and quality minded working environment.
• Install, maintain, and repair a variety of electromechanical equipment
• Perform calibration activities to ensure compliance with set industry codes
• Modify and adjust process equipment and instruments to specifications
• Responsible for cleanup of wastes and debris resulting from maintenance activities and proper management of the wastes generated
• Responsible for notification to appropriate plant personnel or emergency coordinators if and when a hazardous material or waste is spilled during material handling activities
• Train and assist other mechanics when applicable and collaborate professionally with production operators and other personnel.
• Perform regular and preventative maintenance on installed electromechanical equipment
• Communicate effectively at shift change with millwrights, supervisors, and operators
• Troubleshoots any malfunction on production equipment and facility equipment with minimum supervision
• Troubleshoot complex problems associated with electromechanical machinery by following precedential steps
• Install electric parts and hardware
• Repair and calibrate electro pneumatic assemblies to meet job specifications
• Diagnose issues with control systems and employ tactics to resolve them effectively
• Responsible for using Maintenance shop tools and equipment properly on all production equipment.
