Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our Maintenance team. This critical role is responsible for the proactive and reactive maintenance of our advanced plastics manufacturing and high-speed film production machinery. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of industrial electrical systems and a proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues to ensure peak operational performance and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• System Diagnostics and Repair: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform corrective and preventive maintenance on complex electrical, mechanical, and process control systems.
• Operational Support: Provide expert-level technical support, including on-call availability, to minimize downtime and maintain continuous production flow.
• Equipment Upgrades: Execute the assembly, disassembly, conversion, and installation of production lines and ancillary equipment. This includes proficiency with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
• Facility and Utility Maintenance: Maintain and service electrical infrastructure, including switch gears, bus ducts, and distribution panels, to ensure reliable power for the entire facility.
• Technical Documentation: Interpret and apply information from intricate electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and engineering blueprints to guide maintenance and repair activities.
• Proactive Maintenance: Utilize and execute rigorous preventive maintenance schedules to sustain equipment reliability and extend asset lifespan.
• Inventory Management: Utilize the Maintain X CMMS system to manage and procure essential parts and materials, ensuring proper inventory levels.
