Summary of Role

GlobalFoundries Fab 9 is seeking a highly skilled, motivated, and dependable individual to join our Facilities team in Essex, Vermont as a Facilities Electrician . This role is ideal for someone with a background in electrical and technical work who is eager to grow their skills. While some prior electrical experience is required , our ideal candidate is someone who is capable and willing to be trained in the operation and maintenance of Facilities electrical and mechanical systems. This full-time role is a Mon-Fri daytime schedule (roughly 7am - 3:30PM with some flexibility) with some rotating weekend coverage (shift premium applies for weekends!). Essential Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and repair facilities electrical systems in compliance with all local, state and federal requirements
• Read and understand electrical schematics
• Perform preventative electrical and mechanical maintenance and on various facilities related electrical equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair facilities electrical systems
• Assist in the creation of operations and maintenance specifications
• Support complex troubleshooting of facilities equipment and associated failures
• Partner with other technicians and management in identifying training requirements and safety procedures in assigned areas
