The primary role of the Electrician position is to troubleshoot and repair problems on plant facilities and production equipment with a continued focus on safety, and productivity. Desired candidate will be able to read and understand wiring schematics and blueprints and assist in preventative maintenance of all equipment. This individual needs to be a self-directed leader that works well in a team environment. JOB DESCRIPTION:* Read and understand wiring schematics and blueprints * Assist in preventative maintenance of all equipment * Experienced with Allen Bradley PLC and Logix 5000 * Understand motor theory * Familiar with 4-20 ma instrumentation, servo systems, positioning systems and assorted feedback devices * Understand standard control circuit wiring and troubleshooting * Know, Understand, and Apply the Lock-out Tag-out procedures * Entry level laborer sawmill duties, including but not limited to, stacking boards, general cleanup, removal of wood waste and debris, and tending machines * Maintain a clean and safe work area. * Ensure tools, supplies, and equipment are in their “home locations” at all times * Maintain lines of communication with other team members * Learning and applying lean business practices * Fill out a maintenance request and Idea Cards when needed * Other duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS
