RESPONSIBILITIES

• Installs, maintains and repairs electrical wiring, conduit, equipment and devices, including complex instrumentation and campus wide DDC control systems
• Installs, tests, maintains and troubleshoots telecommunications equipment and wiring
• Responsible for adding, moving and changing of telephone lines, data lines, and equipment
• Responsible for testing, maintaining, and troubleshooting cable TV up to the service
• Responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance on all HVAC equipment and exhaust fans
• Responsible for periodic testing, maintenance, reporting, and repair of all fire alarm systems and associated peripherals
• Reads, interprets, and follows architectural drawings, schematics/blueprints, sketches, and specifications
• Responsible to follow all standards and prescribed electrical code and other safety regulations such as Lockout/Tagout
• Performs electrical maintenance in accordance with manufacturers installation and maintenance documentation and/or verbal instructions
• Completes special projects as assigned
• Other responsibilities as assigned by the Crew Coordinator, Assistant Directors, or Senior Director

DUTIES

• Repairs, installs, replaces and maintains electrical circuits, equipment and appliances, including high voltage and DC circuits
• Inspects, tests and performs preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment, lighting, signal, HVAC, communications and power circuits
• Troubleshoots and isolates defects in wiring, switches, motors, lighting, DDC controls, and other electrical equipment using appropriate test instruments such as an ammeter, ohm meter, volt meter, test lamp, megger, prowler, or signal generator
• Performs periodic testing, maintenance, reporting, and repair of all fire alarm systems and associated peripherals
