Duties

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems in accordance with blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute installation and repair tasks.
• Use hand tools, power tools, multimeters such as ohmmeters, and other specialized equipment to perform precise electrical work.
• Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC), local regulations, and safety standards related to high voltage and low voltage systems.
• Diagnose electrical issues using diagnostic tools like ohmmeters and troubleshoot complex problems involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and industrial control systems.
• Collaborate with construction teams during renovation or new build projects to install wiring frameworks and support structures such as frame carpentry if needed.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, inspections completed, and parts used; document all repairs for future reference.
• Adhere to safety protocols on construction sites or industrial environments to prevent accidents or hazards related to electrical work.
• Assist with schematic reading for system upgrades or modifications; support handyman tasks related to electrical components when necessary.
