This role ensures that all electrical work meets safety standards, complies with local and national electrical codes, and supports the successful completion of construction projects. Key Responsibilities* Install electrical wiring and equipment in compliance with electrical codes. * Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and construction plans. * Plan layout and installation of electrical systems based on project specifications. * Inspect electrical components to identify hazards, defects, or the need for repair. * Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs or adjustments. * Install and maintain lighting systems, power distribution systems, and control systems. * Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment safely and effectively. * Collaborate with general contractors, project managers, and other trades. * Ensure all work follows OSHA regulations and safety protocols. * Document completed work and maintain accurate records of installations or repairs.

Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or apprenticeship preferred. * One year minimum experience as Journeyman * Proven experience as a construction electrician or in a similar role. * Knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints, and relevant national/local electrical codes. * Ability to work independently and as part of a construction te...
