Position Summary

The Industrial Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment throughout the sawmill. This role supports production and maintenance operations by ensuring electrical systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable codes and standards.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment, components, and systems, including control panels and motor controls
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
• Inspect, test, and diagnose electrical components to identify defects or repair needs
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices and diagnostic tools
• Install, replace, or modify machine components and electrical attachments according to production specifications
• Reassemble machines and equipment following maintenance or repair work
