Job Summary

Thacker Casket Manufacturing is the largest family owned casket manufacturing company in the United States and has been in business since 1939. Thacker Casket Manufacturing employees about 165 team members at our 300,000 sq. ft. facility in Florence, Alabama and produces funeral products, mainly caskets, for funeral homes across the country.

To achieve that vision, we are hiring an Industrial Electrician. The position is full time with normal work hours 5:30am-4:00pm, Monday-Thursday and possible overtime on Fridays depending on market conditions. If no overtime is required, the employees enjoy a three day weekend.

Qualifications

PLC experience, minimum 5 years

VFD experience, minimum 5 years

Able to troubleshoot single and three phase electrical

Robotic experience a plus

In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across manufacturing facilities. Your expertise will ensure the safe and efficient operation of the manufacturing process which includes new installations, and ongoing maintenance, all while adhering to strict safety standards and local electrical codes. Your proactive approach and technical proficiency will play a vital role in keeping our operations running smoothly and safely.

Pay: $32.65 per hour
