Electrician

Job Summary

We are looking to hire a competent electrician for primary residential and commercial work. We cover Western PA and eastern Ohio. Should be located in lawerence, mercer or crawford counties. Except travel time to be anywhere from 10 minutes to 1 hour each day.

Duties

• Install, inspect, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in commercial, and residential settings
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical plans
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete installation and repair tasks
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using testing devices such as ohmmeters and multimeters to identify faults
• Work with homeowners and customers
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other tradespeople to ensure timely project completion while adhering to safety protocols

Skills

• Residential and commercial experience
• Proficiency in reading schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
• Strong knowledge of NEC regulations and safety standards for high voltage and low voltage wiring
• Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, pliers) and power tools (e.g., drills, saws) efficiently
• Experience with construction site work, renovation projects, and framing carpentry is a plus
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical problems quickly using ohmmeters and other diagnostic tools
• Good customer relations
• Handyman experience or general construction skills beneficial for versatile project support
• Knowledge of schematics related to electrical systems in various environments

Pay: $28.89 - $60.00 per hour
