The City of Fresno is looking for skilled Electricians to help maintain and enhance vital systems - from streetlights and traffic signals to City-owned facilities and advanced control equipment. Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following

• Install and upgrade electrical systems, conduits, wiring, and fixtures across City facilities
• Maintain and repair lighting, power, heating, and fire alarm systems
• Service, troubleshoot, and overhaul traffic signal controllers and electronic components
• Diagnose and repair motors, generators, pumps, and related electrical equipment
• Test, locate, and resolve issues in electrical circuits and systems
• Perform overhead repairs using aerial boom equipment and replace damaged cables and fixtures
• Conduct preventative maintenance on 15kV substations, switchgear, transformers, and breakers
• Program, calibrate, and repair PLCs, VFDs, fiber optics, and process control instrumentation
• Utilize trade tools and safety practices to complete work efficiently and safely
