Job Summary

The Fairport Mine is seeking an Electrician to perform general electrical maintenance, troubleshooting and installation of new systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in 3-phase systems, motor controls, and troubleshooting. This position will be on a Monday - Friday 2nd shift (2:00 pm - 10:00 pm) schedule.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve uptime by troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on low- to high-voltage electrical systems and equipment (including work in shaftways and other hard-to-access areas).
• Complete work documentation accurately and on time, including inspection sheets, timecards, work orders, and required reports.
• Use electrical schematics and computer-based maintenance systems (CMMS) to plan work, execute repairs, and close out assigned tasks.
• Partner with operations, maintenance, and vendors to diagnose issues, communicate progress, and source/issue/restock parts and materials needed to complete work.
• Support mechanical repairs as directed and perform routine upkeep (greasing, cleaning, and inspecting stationary equipment).
