Duties

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems in residential, commercial and industrial environments.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical installations.
• Use hand tools, power tools, multimeters such as ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment to diagnose issues effectively.
• Work safely on construction sites or renovation projects, adhering strictly to OSHA standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other tradespeople to ensure timely project completion while maintaining high safety standards.

Skills

• Extensive experience as a residential/industrial electrician with a solid understanding of commercial electrical systems.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to electrical installations.
• Skilled in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, as well as power tools like drills and saws.
• Ability to work safely at high voltages and low voltage systems across various environments including construction sites and renovation projects.
• Familiarity with frame carpentry or handyman skills that support electrical installation tasks.
