What You Will Be Responsible for While in This Position

The successful candidate will be responsible to perform layout, installation, repair and maintenance of various electrical and telecommunications systems to provide power for machines, equipment, lighting and facilities in accordance with codes, regulations and safety and performs related work with other Electricians as required.

This position also requires the ability to fully layout, install, maintain, and repair a wide variety of industrial electrical and telecommunication systems. Responsible for providing maintenance and support for the uninterrupted operation of essential electrical equipment.

PURPOSE AND PRIMARY FUNCTION(S)

The low Voltage Electrician is responsible for performing layout, installation, repair and maintenance of various electrical and telecommunications systems to provide power for machines, equipment, lighting and facilities in accordance with codes, regulations and safety and performs related work with other Electricians as required. This is an industrial electrician position.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES

• The employee will be required to be fully competent to layout, install, maintain, and repair a wide variety of industrial electrical and telecommunication systems. Abilities are to include the setup of work tasks and a in depth knowledge of electrical theory.
• Responsible for providing maintenance and support for the uninterrupted operation of essential electrical equipment.
• Must be available for emergencies or job assignments on a 24-hour basis.
• Follows Policies, Procedures, Rules and Regulations as outlined in the Longo Electrical Personnel Policies and Procedures Manual.
