Electrician

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Residential Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in wiring, troubleshooting, installing, and maintaining electrical systems in residential settings. This position requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair residential electrical systems including lighting, receptacles, switches, panels, and service equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and specifications to determine layout and installation methods.
• Run and terminate branch circuits, service feeders, and grounding systems according to code.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide accurate, timely repairs.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building regulations.
• Work collaboratively with homeowners, contractors, and team members to complete projects on schedule.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Trade school or apprenticeship preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of residential electrical experience.
• Current electrician license or journeyman certification (as required by state/local jurisdiction).
• Strong knowledge of NEC and residential wiring methods (e.g., Romex, MC cable, conduit).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience installing panels, service upgrades, and generators.
• Ability to read prints and lay out projects with minimal supervision.
• Customer service and communication skills.
