Electrician I, Shop

Overview

Engine Systems, Inc. is hiring a Shop Electrician I in our Rocky Mount, NC facility. 27804 Responsibilities: * Assembly of control panels and associated components: * Layout and mount various electrical and mechanical components * Panel wiring in accordance with provided drawings * Perform functional testing in accordance with established procedures * Fabrication of various in-house designed sheet metal components * Bending and forming of rigid conduit and various tubing materials * Perform special testing as required * Perform troubleshooting of electrical control systems * Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: * High School diploma or Associates Degree in Electrical / Electronics preferred, but not required. * Electrical AC/DC theory. * Must be able to read and understand electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and layout drawings. * Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and control systems a plus. * Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint preferred, but not required * Self-motivated and multi-task oriented with good organizational skills
