Electrician Helper

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrician Helper to join our dynamic construction and electrical installation team. In this role, you will assist electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various commercial and industrial projects. Responsibilities

• Assist electricians with installing wiring, conduit, panels, and electrical components following blueprints and schematics
• Use hand tools and power tools to support electrical installation tasks efficiently and safely
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to understand project requirements
• Help with the setup of construction sites, including framing carpentry tasks as needed for electrical infrastructure
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored and accounted for
• Support the testing of electrical systems using equipment such as ohmmeters and other testing devices
• Follow safety protocols related to high voltage, low voltage, NEC (National Electrical Code), and other industry standards to prevent accidents or injuries

Experience

• Previous experience working on construction sites or in an industrial or commercial electrical environment is preferred
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, schematics, blueprints, and basic electrical testing equipment such as ohmmeters is highly desirable
• Knowledge of low voltage and high voltage systems, along with an understanding of NEC regulations, is a plus
