ELECTRICIAN - FT - 4 DAY WORK WEEK

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team on a full-time basis, enjoying a four-day workweek (Fridays off). In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various settings, including commercial and residential projects

Duties

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in commercial and industrial settings
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to guide installation and maintenance tasks
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete electrical projects
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards
• Diagnose electrical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to identify faults accurately
• Collaborate on construction site projects involving framing carpentry, renovation work, or general handyman tasks as needed
• Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents on construction sites or within facilities
• Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to execute precise electrical installations or repairs

Skills

• Proven experience as a residential or commercial electrician with a solid understanding of electrical systems
• Strong knowledge of the NEC (National Electrical Code) standards for safe electrical practices
• Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation tasks
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately
• Skilled in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, along with power tools for efficient work completion
• Experience working on construction sites or renovation projects with a focus on safety and quality workmanship
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues quickly using diagnostic tools like ohmmeters and multimeters
