Position Overview

The Electrician is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical products and equipment at assigned job sites. This role works closely with team members, supervisors, and customers to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company and electrical code standards. This position requires project management experience, and the ability to build and sustain productive relationships with both internal teams and external customers, always with a service-focused mindset.

Job Duties

• Install, assemble, and mount ceiling fans at heights up to 20 feet using ladders.
• Troubleshoot controls related to ceiling fans and lighting systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical issues affecting fan and light fixture operation.
• Remove and replace defective light fixtures, ceiling fans, and related electrical components.
• Test installed and repaired equipment to ensure proper functionality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area while following all company and OSHA safety requirements.
• Communicate with customers regarding installation requirements and project status.
• Accurately document work performed, materials used, and service findings.
• Safely handle tools, equipment, ladders, and materials required for overhead electrical work.
• Provide your own tools.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work at heights up to 20 feet.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to climb ladders, work overhead for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks in residential environments.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 2 years previous electrician, installer, or related field experience. Basic knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety procedures.

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in various environments. Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Operating a motor vehicle is an essential function of this position; therefore, a valid driver's license and continuous eligibility to drive under company insurance standards are required. Motor Vehicle Records (MVRs) are monitored on an ongoing basis to ensure compliance with safety, insurance, and regulatory requirements. Compensation: $23.00/hour
