### General Statement of Duties

Under the general supervision of the Electric Supervisor, this position serves as a working foreman responsible for leading and overseeing the daily operations of the maintenance electrician team and supporting staff. This includes coordinating work schedules, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards, and performing advanced electrical maintenance and troubleshooting tasks associated with Utility facilities.### Typical Duties and Responsibilities

• Leads, performs, and oversees installation, inspection, testing, programming, and maintenance of single phase and polyphase electric meters and other associated metering equipment.
• Reviews customer electric service requirements, load characteristics, and rate eligibility to ensure appropriate service sizing and application of utility rate schedules.
• Leads and performs maintenance activities for the electrical equipment and systems supporting Utility buildings, operational facilities and infrastructure.
• Performs advanced troubleshooting and repair of motor control circuits, generators, lighting systems, and alarm circuits.
• Plans, prioritizes, and assigns daily work activities, monitors job progress, and provides technical guidance to personnel.
• Assists with SCADA hardware and software upgrades, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance.
• Maintains and oversees repairs to signal light systems and controls. Keeps records of work performed and equipment installed.
• Coordinates work activities with other Utility departments, contractors, external electricians, and to ensure effective project execution, system integration, and high-quality service delivery.
